Oh, you don't wanna know how mean girls can get. Lest you get involved in a cat fight yourself.

Mean GirlsMean Girls (check out the Special Collector's Edition) is a teen chick flick that chronicles the b*tchy encounters of high school students; female counterparts especially. Comes complete with bimbos, nerds, wannabes and loads of cat fights - duh! What did you expect?

This movie is adapted from Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends and Other Realities of Adolescence, a book by Rosalind Wiseman.

True enough, Mean Girls provides as a guide for lovely young lasses who might want to learn the ropes and climb up the popularity ladder quick. Lindsay Lohan stars as Cady Heron, a 15-year old who has been home schooled on an African safari with her zoologist parents all this while. The drama begins when she moves back to 'civilisation' and has to go to a public school. Sounds harmless doesn't it?

But little did Cady know how b*tchy girls can get. She realises it when she falls in love with Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett), the cutest guy in class. Here's the catch - he's the ex of little Miss Queen Bee (read: most popular girl in school) who happens to be THE Regina George (Rachel McAdams) that no one messes with.

Be prepared to laugh your head off at some of the silly antics the girls get into. A light-hearted comedy with just the right amount of romance and girly attitude.
