"A great civilisation is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within." - Will Durant, 20th century historian/philosopher.
When Jaguar Paw's idyllic existence is brutally disrupted by a violent invading force, he is taken on a perilous journey to a metropolis ruled by fear and oppression where a harrowing end awaits him. Driven by his love for his woman and his family he will make a desperate break to return home and to ultimately save his way of life. The visual effects and pure harsh reality of Mayan urban life is really breath-taking, you can feel the awe and fear of the Jaguar Paw as he struggles to survive his ordeal. |
