Written by Caroline Thompson (Edward Scissorhands) and produced by Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman, City of Ember is a fantasy tale revolving around a magical city that glitters with millions of lights. But when the lights start to flicker it's up to two teenagers to unlock the mystery of the city and help the citizens escape before the lights go out forever. Directed by Gil Kenan, the film boasts an award winning cast and crew that worked on such movies as Raiders of the Lost Ark, Titanic and Troy.
