The Interpreter is the tale of African-born U.N. interpreter Silvia Broome, who accidentally overhears a plot to assassinate an African head of state who is due to address the UN's General Assembly.

The Interpreter She then becomes a target as well. Panicking, she's desperate to thwart the killers... but she'll need to live long enough to find someone to believe her amazing story.

Sean Penn stars as FBI agent Tobin Keller, assigned to protect her, but suspects she's hiding something, and might even be involved in the plot to kill the foreign leader herself. The Interpreter (check out the Widescreen Edition) is a real suspenseful movie.
