Tsai Ming Liang's sequel to What Time Is It There? does not quite reach the beauty of its prequel. In Wayward Cloud, the two protagonists meet again, in Taipei during a drought. Hsiao-kang (Lee Kang Sheng) is a porn star now, and his work occurs in the apartment above Shiang-chyi's home.

The Wayward Cloud Shiang-chyi, in turn, now owns a video store that rents pornographic movies as well. Each hide part of their lives from each other, and the revelation brings about release, literally and metaphorically.

Don't let the blatant sexual activity in The Wayward Cloud overwhelm you, or distract you from the focus of the show. Tsai attempts to reconcile and at the same time separates the act of intercourse from an act of love. Oh, and trust me, you don't want to eat watermelons before or after the show.
