One film that has laid low on our radar but could be the next Love Actually - but without all the English and a little less love - is Columbia Pictures' The Holiday.

The HolidayIn this movie by writer/director Nancy Meyers' (Something's Gotta Give, What Women Want), two women on opposite sides of the globe, Amanda Woods (Cameron Diaz) and Iris Simpkins (Kate Winslet) find themselves in a similar predicament.

Desperate for a change of scenery, the two women meet on the internet and swap houses for the Christmas holiday discovering that a change of address really can change your life. Men everywhere should already expect their close someone to insist picking up this movie in the video rental shop, and trust me, it's not that bad.
