Though it sounds pretty much like a biker-guy kind of movie, it honestly isn't.
The Motorcycle Diaries (check out the Widescreen Edition) Together, they start hitching rides after their bikes gave way and discover something that goes beyond the majestic ruins at Machu Picchu. Both realise a world that far exceeded what they had expected. Their arrival at the leper colony in the Peruvian Amazon pushes them to question ethical values and the economic system. This is a journey of self-discovery that was to lead Guevara to his revolutionary destiny. Finally, a film that really moves the heart and mind. Â |
