It's hard to pass up a vampire remake starring William Defoe and John Malkovich, and Shadow of the Vampire
Defoe plays a real vampire hired by a director (Malkovich) who promises a junkie played by Catherine McCormack in exchange for his labor. The script is sometimes lame, but the settings and acting is first-rate, and the movie poster is damn near high art. There are also some laughs. Thinky says: Tak-tak* (*Attention American readers: this means "so-so" in Czech). |
