Pleasantly well told story, but as a horror piece it was pretty useless.

Dark WaterThroughout Dark Water (check out the Unrated Widescreen Edition), the dim lights and the ever-present "drip-drip-drip" of blackish-brown water in every corner and crevice of this decrepit building kept up the sense that what we were seeing was the inner turmoil of our heroine, Dahlia.

The "possession" of her child Cecelia was a little more abrupt and a little more convincing than the one in The Ring, which I appreciated. Overall, this was a great story, illustrating the bond between a mother and child, and how love and sacrifice are so closely intertwined as to be very nearly the same thing.
